It's been a long, hot day, but everyone is here, healthy, and happy. I am thoroughly enjoying the laughter of all the WCCS team and the youngsters in the village. Many old friendships were rekindled immediately with hugs and stories of past times.
I cannot say enough about the beauty of these people, they are genuinely glad we are here and are making us feel very welcome. Their passion and love for Christ and each other is alive and visible.
One more organizational meeting and time to for a shower - no hot water, but absolutely no problem. Then to the bunks (complete with the requisite mosquito net).
